I was always curious about colors. How different things have beautiful shades, and why we choose some colors more frequently in our lives. While I create the coloring pages, I think about this more often, and I’ve got a good book recommendation that I’ve just finished reading: Lilian Verner-Bonds, Colour Healing (A practical guide to understanding the healing power of colour).
I loved this book, so now I would like to recommend it to you as well. Maybe you noticed too in your life that you have a favorite color, or a color you would never choose in your home or wardrobe. This may have different reasons, but in the book Colour Healing, Lilian Verner-Bonds gives us a great introduction to the magical world of colors. She points out that this magic lies in the fact that colors are capable of setting us free, because we are able to find answers to our problems.
Why we always react in the same negative way to someone or something, or why we remain stuck in unhealthy patterns of behavior — colors can reveal why things happen this way.
While reading the book, I was able to understand why I have loved some colors since I was a kid, or why I’m obsessed with some others lately. Also, which colors I should use more often in my life.
If you are also interested in colors or color therapy more deeply, read Lilian Verner-Bonds’ book.
What color are you most drawn to lately? Let them guide you.
