About Mariposart
A little space for creativity, reflection, and making.
A little space for creativity, reflection, and making.
Mariposart grew from a simple love for drawing and the belief that creativity can be more than simply making something beautiful.
In a world that moves quickly and where so much of what we create happens on a screen, I wanted to make space for something slower and more hands-on.
That's where the idea of Coloring Rituals came from.
Each Mariposart ritual combines hand-drawn artwork with gentle reflection prompts, inviting you to slow down, pick up your pencils, put on some music, and spend a little time with yourself.
You can color, journal, reflect, or simply enjoy the process without worrying about the finished result.
Because creativity doesn't always need a purpose. Sometimes, making something just for yourself is enough.
Hi, I'm Monika. I've loved drawing for as long as I can remember. As a child, I could spend hours with a pencil in my hand, creating little worlds on paper.
Today, I'm a graphic designer, so much of my creative work happens in the digital world. I love what technology makes possible, but even after all these years, hand-drawn art is still what feels closest to my heart.
There is something about putting pencil to paper that digital tools can never quite replace, the little imperfections, the texture, the feeling of creating something with your own hands.
Mariposart is where these two sides of my creativity meet: my experience as a designer and my love for drawing by hand.
What started as a collection of illustrations slowly became something more personal: a way to share the creative moments that have always helped me slow down, reconnect, and find a little joy in the process.
I don't create just to share what I make. I create to give you a little spark to create too.
Thank you for being here.
